Simply put, the Blackjack strategy strategy notes a basic strategy for Blackjack players. Blackjack strategy chart is a simple graph that displays the correct step that players must be made based on the player card and dealer face card. Basic movements permitted in blackjack are standing, hit, double down, split and give up. Learning basic strategies is as simple as memorizing all possible card scenarios and movements to make each.

Analyzing graphics may seem complicated if you are new in the game, but it’s actually quite simple. Usually in the far left column, the value of the player’s hand will be registered. The dealer’s face card will then be registered at the top of the graph. The rest of the graph is filled with all movements that might be made by the player.

Often the Blackjack strategy chart will include the player’s movement using the font code letters and box boxes. Color makes it easier to distinguish each letter. Most charts use the first letters or two of each word to indicate the steps that must be made by the player (eg h = hit, s = stand, d = double down, sp = splender). Not all charts are the same.

This chart details the basic strategy for blackjack games with the following general rules:

1. 4 to 8 decks

2. Dealers stand above 17

3. Double down on 2 cards

4. Double down after split is permitted

5. Only the original bet is lost at the Blackjack dealer

6. Give up late

There is no doubt that following the Blackjack strategy graph will increase your chances in the table. But it won’t guarantee you will win. Even if you follow a basic strategy perfectly, you will still win less than 50% of the time in the long run.

You can find a number of different blackjack charts on the internet for free use. Obviously if you go to the casino, you have to memorize the graph.
