Commercial links
Readers pay nothing; the bills are covered by operators who reward us for customers referred from these pages. Below is every kind of link we use and which kinds bring in money.
Link types on the site
| Link | Where you see it | Can it earn us money? |
|---|---|---|
Buttons and names that go through /go/ | Casino shortlist, payment and game pages | Yes, marked rel="sponsored" |
| Links to regulators, courts, ministries, police | Law and tax guides | No |
| Links to studios and game rules | Game explainers | No |
| Photo credits and sources | Under images, credits page | No |
How the payment works
Suppose a reader clicks a /go/ link, signs up and funds the account. Depending on the contract, we then receive either a single bounty for that customer or a percentage of the house's winnings from them for months afterwards. With the percentage deal, a player's losses raise our income. Saying it plainly is better than leaving it in small print — and it is why our guides keep returning to two points: losing is what normally happens, and the budget comes first.
Paid links and Japanese law
Since 25 September 2025 Japanese law prohibits advertising overseas online casinos to people in Japan and inviting them to play. Our operator pages carry the legal warning beside every commercial link, and nothing on them is addressed as an invitation to readers in Japan. If you are in Japan, do not use these links to play.
What payment does not buy
- A higher score or position: the order comes from the weights on how we rate.
- Silence: slow withdrawals, caps and complaints are written up for partners exactly as for anyone else.
- A preview: drafts stay with the editors until publication.
- Your data: an operator learns only that a visit came from us.
Who signs
