How We Rate

Ordering a list of gambling sites is an editorial act, and the honest way to do it is to say exactly what the order is built from. This page says it.
Two facts decide whether an operator appears here at all. The first is a Japanese language site that actually loads and serves the games in Japanese. The second is a published welcome figure denominated in yen, taken either from the operator or from a Japanese review portal that states it. An operator that fails either test is left out of the list rather than described in vague terms, which is why several well known names are absent.
What moves a site up or down
Within the list, position is produced by the ranking model used across this site rather than by a per-page judgement. The model weighs the commercial arrangement behind the link, the size of the published welcome package, how long the operator has been online, and how many independent Japanese review portals have written about it. Nothing on the page is a score we invented: there are no stars, no ratings out of ten and no “expert marks”, because a number of that kind would imply testing we have not done.
What we do not do
We do not open accounts, deposit money or place bets to produce these pages, and we do not publish player reviews or testimonials. We do not convert a welcome figure from one currency into yen: if an operator has not published a yen amount, the space stays empty. We do not describe an operator as licensed in Japan, because no online casino is. Where a figure could not be confirmed, the page says so instead of filling the gap.
Money, stated plainly
Links marked “Go to site” are commercial. If a reader opens an account through one of them, this site may receive a payment from the operator. That arrangement does not buy a position: the same model produces the order whether or not a particular operator pays more, and operators have no say over what these pages say about them. It does explain how the site is funded, and it is the reason the disclosure sits on every list rather than in a footnote.
Corrections
Figures go stale. Welcome packages change, wagering multipliers are revised and sites withdraw from markets without announcing it. If something here is out of date or wrong, the contact page reaches the person who maintains these lists, and a correction is made without argument.
