Start with Blackjack Online
Most people already know how to play blackjack. But if you don’t, easily learn. The object of this game is to defeat the dealer by having a hand with a value closer to 21 without passing 21. Dealers must play certain hands in a certain way, so the dealer does not have the power of decision making in a game. Each player starts with two cards, and the player must choose whether to “stand up” with the hand he has or “press” with another card from the deck.
Blackjack rules state that ACE can be appreciated at 1 or 11, depending on the value of another card in the hand. Cards from 2 to 10 have a nominal value, and face cards are all valued at 10. The setting is not a problem in blackjack. If you have a US card, you don’t need to say whether you want to be 1 or 11, because it’s considered 11 unless it puts you more than 21, in this case it is calculated as 1.
One reason that Blackjack is very popular both online and offline is because the edge of the house is on most low bets. In addition, many people learn what Blackjack Strategy is called, which can help them know when it’s a good idea to “stand up” and when “hit” has a better chance of profitable.
The Blackjack strategy was developed in the 1950s by a group of American soldiers stationed in Maryland. Their article, “Optimal Strategy in Blackjack” was published in 1956 in the Journal of the American Statistical Association and its strategy has been widely used since then. The strategy is not the same as a card calculation, but the card counting has a basis in basic strategies and depends on strong knowledge about it.
Blackjack players seriously memorize a strategy graph that tells how to play each hand in various conditions. Some ground casinos allow people to bring a copy of the basic strategy diagram as long as they don’t slow down the game. And of course, if you play online, you can have a copy of a graph strategy that is useful for reference.
There are three basic principles underlying the strategy:
1. More cards on the deck have a value of 10 of other values (because 10s plus all facial cards are valued at 10).
2. Players have free will, but the dealer does not. Dealers must press up to 16 and stand at 17, but the player does not have to follow the rules.
3. The “soft” hand (which contains ACE) cannot destroy you, because you can change the ACE value from 11 to 1 if necessary.
Beginners who do not want to memorize or refer to the strategy chart can benefit from this simple practical rule: assume that the removal card decline in the dealer is 10. It will help you make a better choice to stand or hit. This does not guarantee victory, of course, but it helps keep the edge of the house. Like your experience and skills take place, you will develop the best “taste” with each hand.
